Little Bloomers
We spent a lovely morning with the children from Fennies Nursery planting pansies in the flower tubs on the rotary field.
The was made possible by some residents first of all clearing the tubs, removing the weeds and adding compost. Then the Purley in Bloom lead organiser, Pam Manisier, working with Fennies Nursery carers and children planted some of the 1000 pansies and bulbs bought by Purley in Bloom.
It was clear that all involved loved it as you can see from the pictures are which there are more in our gallery.
Thank you so much to all those involved, particularly Fennies and let’s hope our little Bloomers will grow up with the joy of getting their hand dirty by continuing to care for our environment. Well done all.
